Record DVD menu for portfolio use? (Solved)

I have a DVD menu I had designed for one of my classes and I want to put it on my online portfolio. I need to somehow record me demoing it as an avi, but I'm not sure how to go about this. I tried a screen capture program to do it but it was too choppy. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Ok thanks! Fraps seemed to do the trick. The other program I was using like it lagged to much but Fraps worked perfectly. Thanks :D
