If Torch is living with Peter, I'd imagine he's gonna goto school with him. Coupled with the fact that Spiderman is viewed as a goodguy now in the UltiU, how long until Spiderman reveals himself as Peter to the public?

And then we can have the Ulitimate version of OMD and go back to hating Quesada

Why does Torch + Peter + Public Favor = Revealed Identity?

Everybody knows Spiderman has something to do with the high school. He's friends with Johhny Storm, Iceman, and Kitty. Now Torch, a guy Peter knew for all of 10 minutes, is living with him? If Kong can figure it out, that reporter chick better.

Public favor simply gets rid of Peter's number 1 excuse not to go public: People hate him.

Except there's reason number 2: People are fickle, and stupid.

From the previous issues, it looks like Mysterio is going to find a way to ruin Spider-man's credibility with the public.

    Maybe blame
    the kingpin's death

    on ol' Spidey.

There's also good ol' reason 3: Some people are psychopathic super-villains who would hurt Peter's family to get to him.

    Villains like, oh say, Mysterio.

And public favor may not be with him for long. This is Mysterio we're talking about. Anytime he's shown up in any medium, comics, cartoons, whatever, one of his plans generally involves using his illusions to make people think that Spidey's gone bad.

You're all right of course, it's just I don't see how they're going to keep the secret with Peter's new superhero brother.

Yes, Mysterio is more of an annoyance than a physical threat to Spider-Man.

Probably shouldn't assume Ultimate Mysterio has much in common with regular Mysterio.

    Ultimate Comics January solicits.

Hmm, looks like they'll be no Avengers book for two months straight. I guess I should have expected this but I thought Millar was serious about getting the book out monthly, unless this is an artist thing.

I am excited about Ultimate Comics Enemy though.

Actually issue 5 could still come out in January so for now it's potentially only a one month delay.

    So, Ultimate Enemy
    Reed Richards?

That was my first guess seeing the cover, and most of the people commenting on CBR seem to agree.

I'm actually really excited about it. I was going to just buy these 4 issue limiteds in trade, but I will pick up UCE for sure.

As much as I hate Lobe, Ultimatum was a good idea. He just fucked it up.

Now all then books have the same time line. And if you just know the names of heroes, it's not too hard to pick up and follow. The whole idea behind starting the Ultimate line.

Pretty sure he was getting at wiping it all out and starting over was the good idea. Loeb's story/execution was the problem

Found this over at CBR's forums, said to have been posted by Mark Millar as a page from UC: Avengers #9. I fear there might be some yelling and cussing due to the appearance of the figure on the left..

That doesn't look like Cage on the left, or at least not the way he was in USM. If it is, Millar just loves stereotypes, huh?

And I get the feeling the Cap/Punisher person will be Ultimate USAgent

You have Hawkeye and Sam Wilson or Rhodey on the right.

He originally showed up in Ultimate Spider-Man #1/2, with Ultimate Danny Rand. Or did they gloss over that like Ultimate Team-Up and the FF?
