Your chance to meet a Gaming Celebrity has arrived!
“Bernie’s” Games “Sup Nerds” Gaming Night Extravaganza this Friday (Jan 21) at Ernie’s Games, Woodinville, WA - just minutes from Bellevue and Seattle! With national “recognition” I figured why not give everyone the chance to meet the now infamous? “Bernie” from the Comic Strip featured here on Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/ )!
We will be having a Magic: the Gathering FNM Draft at 6:30 PM followed by EDH, casual MTG, and Tabletop Gaming from 10:30pm to 2:00am. Come test your mettle against the might of my Cryx or Everblight, or perhaps dance with the devil himself and have me break out my Vampire Counts Death Star! Oh yes, every nerd hating game store owner runs a VC Death Star and I am no different! I could play you with my Tomb Kings if you’re a hot chick though, I wouldn’t mind losing then.
For everyone participating in the draft and/or Tabletop Gaming I will be doing door prizes, with the Top Prize being a $100 Gift Certificate and also giving away a Jace, the Mind Sculptor from my personal, hair-gelled collection. That’s right, there is no entry fee for the raffle, just play in the draft ($14) or have some fun playing tabletop and you could win some cool stuff!
You only get made fun of on a national level every so often, so lets throw caution to the wind and get really crazy…I’ll order pizza for everyone as well – I know that’s what you gamers really desire! I will the hit the gym as hard as possible this week, get my hair and nails done, possibly go fake and baking and yes even shop for a brand new track suit so I can look my best for you, but you guys are going to have to supply the women, I’m fresh out. Bring your rulebooks, autograph signing will be at Midnight! Hope to see you at the store, and yes, this is for real.
