I think there's some funky stuff going on with their servers. I dunno how it works for rust, but I think something or other is being DDOSed is what I heard, and it seems true because I couldn't connect to the majority that I tried and it was super laggy when I did get in one.
That said my first life experience was to spawn in, hear gun shots and then get killed by a zombie. Like I spawned adjacent to a zombie and he was hitting me before I knew what was up.
Second life I spawned in and beat some guy who had a hatchet to death with my rock.
So I think it's a pretty good game so far. (no sarcasm, that is how I like a game to treat me on my first log ins. besides the server issues of course.)
Also, man there's a lot of people in this game or on that server any ways. You can't go any where without running into multiple guys.
It may be one of those cases where a server with fewer people is actually better but I dunno. I'm gonna wait till the whole DDOS thing clears up a bit more before giving it a more serious go I think.
