Do you know if Game Controller designers/manufacturers take into consideration people with hands or arms that are not normal?

Not really. Partly because it's a small number of the population, and partly because each disability is so different from the next. Thankfully there are groups like Able Gamers that come up with cool controller designs to help people with disabilities get their game on.

There is a company called N-Control that developed a controller modification system meant for people with disabilities. Despite their original goal, their products are marketed as performance enhancer for pro gamers because hardcore pro gamers are perceived (whether right or wrong) as a larger market.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
