    All of this is far less important than having as many of your videos as possible show up near the top of common searches and in "suggested videos" areas for other popular videos. My second most viewed video of all time is the #1 hit for "Frozen Synapse gameplay" and (probably as a result of that popularity) the #3 hit for "Frozen Synapse." That sort of thing drives a zillion times as much traffic to your channel as having a custom thumbnail or making good videos.
