Bookmarks jumping too far

Starting this morning my bookmarks have been behaving weirdly. It seems like maybe it's registering me having followed the "latest" link twice. It either jumps me to the last post in the thread, or if there's a page break between my real latest unread and the end, it will jump me to the top of the page, skipping all the unread posts on the previous page.

    If this is what I think it is, It's related to video/twitter content that doesn't come in as a fixed size and is loaded via JS dynamically so that page's HTML anchors are off slightly as it pushes content around.

    Seems to happen in chrome/chromium far more than firefox in my experience.

    Nah, this isn't related to the page resizing after load. This is literally anchoring on the wrong post, like in the case whee it goes to first new post on a new page instead of the unread posts on the old page. It's behaving like following the link twice.

    it's been doing it randomly since this thread was made but today it's been doing it to all bookmarks

    I just noticed this today but I think it's been happening randomly for a while. Chrome/Android and Chrome/Windows

    Edit: To be clear, it's not happening to me every time even now, it's random when it occurs.

    I've had it happen in threads that don't have any twitter content. I guess they've had youtube imbeds. But also instead of pushing me to the bottom of the page, it actually pushed me to the most recent post on the next page.

    this is happening to me again, started yesterday. latest version of chrome beta, android 12

    haven't tried it on desktop yet. i *think* it's only when there's a new page in the bookmarked thread? but opening a bookmarked thread either takes me to the latest post or the top of the last page, skipping all the previous unread posts

    edit: it's not just when there's a new page; it skips to the latest post instead of the first unread
