I would say go for 2009 over 2010, unless there is something that can be done with what they did with character customization in 2010. You get a specific amount of points to spend, which means you are much more limited in 2010 than you are in 2009, which has no such limit. And to be honest, the best thing about pro-wrestling games anymore are the customized characters.
Unless you take SvR'10 online or have friends to play with, the replay value is surprisingly low. The problem, as it always has been, is the AI. On normal, the game is pathetically easy and you get bored of just beating on the CPU. On the hardest setting, it's brutal and frustrating to the point of wanting to break the disc.
And I haven't played a wrestling game since Day of Reckoning on the GameCube. Despite looking good with the maximum amount of creation modes possible, it still doesn't feel too new or fun to play for the engine alone.
Unfortunately, that isn't likely to change since THQ relicensed the property for another 8 years.
Great little match. Though man, Generation Me looks fucking generic as fuck. Something needs to be done about that.
They screwed up the double team at 4:20. One of them wanted to do a double team atomic drop, the other went for a backbreaker.
However they immediately redeemed themselves with the neckbreaker-backbreaker...thing that was a work of art.
Shitty looking spear at 5:05 but again, the follow up was bad ass.
The finish was pretty awesome, except the dark haired guy screwed up and moonsaulted Alex Shelley's knees.
That was a nice spotfest match. Definitely the kind of stuff that fires up the crowd. It's also the kind of stuff, and Tenay says it at the end, that's a signature of Eric Bischoff. Bischoff loves those matches. I love those matches too. Just ridiculous shit.

That was a slick match. I love tag matches like that. Haven't seen many of 'em since Paul London and Brian Kendrick were split up.
Now, if Generation Me can become more than The Dark-Haired Guy In Jeans and The Light-Haired Guy In Jeans, I've have to say they've got a bright future.
Yeah, he's just some idiot shock-jock who really likes Hogan. He may also be the new backstage interviewer for TNA, but that might have just been for the live special, at least I hope so.

He was on this week's episode too. Him and Jim Cornette apparently have a bit of a feud going on in the wrestling press regarding Bubba being a complete dickhead.
Anyway, SDvsRaw 2010 is a fun game, but most of the replay value comes from the online, specifically where you can upload characters and stories you've created, and download those made by other people.

Probably because it's silly and really hasn't done much for them. I seem to remember that one of the rumors was that they were going to change TNA to a 4-sider.
The 6 sided ring is still something I like about TNA, to be honest. Though I can see it making things harder for wrestlers at times. Though really, with all of their "We're changing the face of wrestling!", if they go to the standard 4-sided ring, thats just one more step to normalcy in the business. Though, thats a much smaller step then starting up where the nWo left off years ago.
What the fuck is going on here? Why aren't the images full size? Why when I click them do I get the source link? What the fuck kind of amateur shit is this?
Honestly, half the time I forget that TNA has a six-sided ring. The whole thing seems like an excuse to use the phrase "six sides of steel". I'm not sure making it 4-sided will change much, if anything.

I don't own any wrestling games, last time I played one was back in the late 80's so what's the gameplay like, id it a good investment of cash?
I made a game, it has penguins in it. It's pay what you like on Gumroad.
Currently Ebaying Nothing at all but I might do in the future.
He says he doesn't regret it.
Which is ok. I would say get it on the cheap. Or just find a used copy of 2009.

I traded it in after a month.

Stay classy.
The only times I ever heard of him are when Hogan is on his show.

6. Everybody stops selling
lol
Heaven forbid we desecrate the American flag that is already laying on the ground with various wrestlers stepping on it.
When that fire thing happened, at first I thought it was gonna be some kind of Sting entrance.
And that James Bond/ Jim Cornette discussion at the end is some of the best editing ever.

Why? Is Hogan afraid Knobbs will get confused and fall out of the ring?
It depends though. Would they go with the smaller WCW ring or the big WWE style?
Anyone placing bets on which wash up former WWE star debuts tonight as their huge acquisition? I'm saying Kennedy.
this has already been confirmed
Oh, I know of Botchamania... just never much beyond that to know the guy responsible. So it's a joke sign, got it.

Huh, really? I thought the only confirmed thing was Brian Kendrick being Red's mystery opponent.

Though again, it proves how they really, really need to get away from this crowd.
