I got a chin-up bar yesterday and tried a new workout for chest/back which involved a lot of chin-ups and push ups. I'm having a hard time lifting my arms this morning.
I wanna work out so bad ; n; I put in an hour on the stationary bike at the gym on Thursday, but I haven't been in any condition to do anything more intense than bits of housework here and there. Got all four wisdom teeth removed on Friday. The swelling's gone down a bit, but I still look like I'm storing grapes in my cheeks or something. Didn't wanna come to work today, but I'm out of sick days, so I'm here and drugged and uuuugh.
I've given my 100% to this Japan project... but every time that I fall on my face it's harder and harder to get up and do it again. I've been denied like 5 jobs that I had to work so hard just for them to consider me... and in the end they always say no. This last time, I had to put up a lot of money to print and ship my resume/portfolio... so if it doesn't work it will be especially disapointing.
I'm not quitting... because I know that it's gonna come back to haunt me and I'll grow into an old man that'll look back and say "man... I didn't try harder"... but I feel like I'm running out of gas.

I'm not moving for a girl. I've had this in my plans since before I met her. My breakup in Nicaragua taught me never to go to a foreign country for a girl.

Oh man, my faithful laptop broke down on me yesterday. I wanted to close the screen and ended up having one part of the laptop in each hand. I loved that laptop
Now I have to start looking for a replacement. I was kinda hoping to hear some fellow artists' opinions on whether or not I should go for the macbook/macbook pro this time, since I'm all over 2D and 3D animation now. I have never had an apple, so I can't tell if I should believe all of the Macbook fanboys in my class.
Apple is expensive as hell over here, but it also looks so sleek

I've always disliked laptops, but I just bought a MacBook Pro for my wife 'cause she wanted a laptop. We both love it so much, we don't even have any love left over for any potential children.
Get whatever suits your needs the best at a price you find acceptable. Don't base your decision on peer pressure and spend a lot more money if all you'll really get for it is a shinier case.
Though this is coming from someone who still uses the Windows Classic theme in XP, so I guess I don't attach much monetary value to the visual slickness of a UI.
Also: COME ON, UPS MAN! I'M FUCKING READY FOR YOU THIS TIME, YOU ASS.

So I tried to get to sleep last night without any medication.
It didn't work. After three+ hours of laying very still in bed, I broke down and took a pill. I think I'll just start slow by cutting down on the doses. I don't think my insomnia will ever go away though.
