Also, get over the Gutters thing. That's twice now someone flipped out about it. It's a good joke. Even CTRL+ALT+DEL manages to excrete a decent comic once every year. Shadowlands Daredevil came off as an asshole much of the time, and it was playing on that.

Apart from the Daredevil in Shadowlands thing or whatever, literally none of what you have said there is true in this or any other universe, real or imagined, possible or impossible. Ryan Sohmer has never done anything good in the entirety of his existence, and on the incredible off chance that he has, it did not have anything to do with any of his work in comics. He is an unoriginal, unfunny scumbag, and that Gutters thing was not a good joke.

The only person who needs to get over something in this case is you, for being upset by people calling you out for liking complete shit.

Altho I only really know gutters from it being thrown around these forums like a swear word, I gotta say, it's fine to hate it, but raging on people for liking something , terrible or whatever it may be, seems , dunno, off?

Hate for a real reason, like really long, rambling sentences with , randomly placed commas or , something.

( hating someone for hating something you like I guess fits this also, I'll just crawl back in my cave, I just want us to get along!)

So wait. Aside from the punch-line of the joke, nothing I said is true. That's...Something. Regardless of whether you think it's funny, there is a point to the comic.

My apologies if me posting a comic on the internet in a comic sub-forum in a topic related to posting comics offends you so much that you need to flame me. But I do not, nor do I foresee myself following comics so fanatically that I investigate intensively the background of every comic artist and writer ever before posting something, so as to avoid the risk of offending your delicate sensibilities. No reasonable, sane, human being would do that.

Nor do I foresee myself basing my posting history past, present, and future, around the possibility of not knowing of the delicate sensibilities of a forum poster over not knowing a web-comic artist is or is in the process of being a scummy piece of shit. Something that is not exactly an exception to the rule in the genre all things considered. There's a fair number of them that I personally know of out there given the ease of entry to it. That doesn't mean I know all of them.

All that being said, that's no excuse for you to act like an asshole. A simple: "Hey, isn't that Ryan Sohmer's work? He's an asshole!" would have sufficed.

By the way, where did I ever say I read The Gutters? I had that sent to me. Ergo my post earlier (That you quoted.) where I said that even shitty web-comics tend to excrete one decent comic a year. Great job making assumptions there.

On that note, to try and get back on topic, Ares really needs to come back from being dead already. I can't think of a single appearance that didn't have him being a crazy asshole and/or awesome.

Archonex watching you post here is fantastic comedy.

I hope that's the good kind of comedy instead of the troll-bait kind of comedy. I was trying to post content that was funny. That's all. I'm not making a statement or something.

Because this shit is getting entirely too ridiculous. It's been a page now and people are still flipping at me out over a picture (And not even that. The author of the picture. You'd think I posted porn or something.), of all the goddamn things.

    Here's another Ares picture:

I wasn't aware that posting a Ryan Sohmer comic was against the rules.

The other thing I retain my belief that it wasn't necessarily against it. And I didn't get "bitchy" over that. In fact, since some people were worried I posted too many things that could be considered inter-linked, I immediately took the panels down since I didn't want to risk spoilering anything for anyone going into Flashpoint blind.

I got "bitchy" around the time some people started acting like I was the anti-christ for posting a comic page made by someone who was disliked (Unknown to me at the time.) by the forum community. And even then, i've been trying to be nice.

Did you even read my post at all?

I said lets leave the Gutters comic out of this. As in I'm not talking about that. I was talking about the posting to many comics thing.

And I said you said they were being Bitchy not that you were being bitchy. Specifically.

"Whatever. Edited the extra images out. There wasn't that much inter-connectivity in the panels, as I explained. But if it bothers people that much, they're gone, simple as that."

Given that the Gutters comic is the main thing that seems to be causing people to jump on the two posts in question now, it seems a bit disingenuous to just "leave it out".

I removed the comics immediately when some people were worried they gave too much away, while saying I disagreed with what some people were saying about how they factored into the rules. What was I supposed to do? Prostrate myself and beg forgiveness?

I didn't know who Ryan Sohmers was before that, and frankly still don't, but except for the lame and expected punchline in the last panel that page made me laugh because that's what everyone was thinking about shadowlands daredevil. I think we need to get back to awesome moments...

I have a few shots on my phone i've taken as i've read through a few books lately. when I went to upload them though whatever site i used wasn't having any of that. what's a good place to upload images?

figured it out after a minute. yeah that's old Bruce with a sort of exoskeleton bracing system to support his body.

Here's what made me want to keep track of cool moments though. I started going through Marvel's cosmic stuff with the first couple nova trades, then finally picked up annihilation and conquest and now I'm continuing in order. and it all started with this

'cause I've barely read any comics. (Aside from licensed shit like Transformers and Gears of War)

About the only comics I've seriously read are most of pre-DoSM Ultimate Marvel and Watchmen (and Watchmen I only read for the first time a few weeks ago.)

I'm in this thread/forum mainly because of the current crop of movies and animation got me interested in superheros enough to poke around this forum, and this thread is great to see some out-of-context coolness, so I keep up on it.

I have a subscription to Marvel's Digital Comics Unlimited, I just need to get off my ass and start reading some of it. My biggest issue is I like reading things from the beginning and well... let's just say I have to be in a certain frame of mind to read silver age comics. :D

Thought this was good for a laugh. It's from a webcomic that depicts the Justice League as grade-schoolers, and it features Darkseid as a gym teacher.

It's basically Tiny Titans, but not as boring.
