I've lost count of the number of times I've been in a showdown and miraculously pulled out a great hand on the fourth card only to have someone else even more miraculously pull out the winning hand on the fifth card.
So many times I've had 4/5 cards needed for a straight. So many missed chances at the Heavy's gun.

I only wish it was a re-skin of Natascha instead of Sascha. or that you're given the option, upon having it appear in you inventory in tf2, to transform a Natascha that you already have into that re-skin with the same stats.
Of course it's Texas hold em, that's the only poker anyone knows how to play

you're dealt two cards, people round the table either call or raise until a full round has gone by of no-one raising. then three cards get dealt to the table, more calls and raises, until 2 more cards are revealed or everyone but one has folded.
I only wish it was a re-skin of Natascha instead of Sascha. or that you're given the option, upon having it appear in you inventory in tf2, to transform a Natascha that you already have into that re-skin with the same stats.

Do items that appear on the table go to the winner (i.e., so you can still get them by defeating everyone at the table) or do they vanish until next time?

Nope you gotta knock out the item's owner yourself.
Also re: losing hands winning, that happens when there's a side-pot. If the best hand isn't involved in the largest pot, Winslow will only announce the winner of the last side-pot. But the actual best hand will still win the pot they were in for.
I've failed many times in getting Strong Bad's glasses, they're the only item I still need. Hate those damn glasses, you gotta play like an asshole otherwise he just does something dumb and all ins with nothing against another player

Max is extremely agressive, for instance. I find The Heavy is quite passive.
