The only character I would say I "care about" is Abed, despite how off his personality is. Everyone else feels pretty sitcom-y, but I still love the hell out of the show.

Abed is a very sad character I think, though in some ways actually quite a happy one as well (strange as that contradiction may seem). Most of the characters in community have that depth, one of the reasons the show is so great, but Abed goes to further extremes than anyone else, he is the most far-out personality.
The episode where Abed makes the video with Brita and Jeff as his mom and dad was really good. It's my favorite "serious moment" of the entire series, by far
Donald Glover is a guest on this podcast I listen to. I didn't know he was a 30 Rock writer, that explains some stuff. I also didn't know he got that job by writing a Simpsons spec script.
be careful tweeting to dan harmon he might insult you for not praising him enough

Are any episodes out of order? Abed's Row Boat Cop vision said that Troy's birthday was in two weeks, but Wiki says that the birthday episode is next week-- making it three.
The out-of-order eps in season one really stuck out to me, especially since they didn't seem to correct it on the DVD release.

Why would each episode need to be a different week?

Good point.
Counterpoint: Abed is all about being meta and I understood those little notes to have dual meanings, both in-universe and for the audience. I thought that was the show's way of telling us what to expect in two weeks.
But yeah, you can just as easily say that that's not the case and that's all.

I'm pretty sure it's just a show and you should really just relax
Posts
the Halloween episode is where the show really begins to take off.
If you still feel this way at the end of the season I will be surprised
Well I have watched other episodes of the season
