    So our bags were at the luggage counter when we got to the airport and had been there since yesterday morning. Apparently they were unable/unwilling to call the number I provided them because I did not provide a delivery address and instead selected the option to pick up the bags directly when I filed the claim. I'm sure that makes sense to somebody, but it's not me.

    In summary, fuck United Airlines.

    Anyways, I'm home now. I'm gonna start uploading pictures and videos soon. I'm gonna update pretty much every PAX thread on the forum about them.

    Thanks for putting this all together Will! Dinner was fantastic and we had a grand time chatting with everyone. It was cool to see everyone again, and who knew zee Germans could be so much fun?

    Sorry we didn't make it back out on Saturday - got drained at the conference and after missing the line for the concert just wandered aimlessly for a short while then went back to the hotel and collapsed.

    Oh and we might have been the source of the Frankie comment, though the word actually used was "striking" not "terrifying" =)

    the tiramisu was desconstructed, which was kind of a cool idea. problem was it turned out to be kind of tough to balance the coffee/ liqueur mousse with the marscipone cheese in the right ratio.

    i wish i'd gotten the cheese plate i think. i tried some of that cake and it was just incredibly dense

    That cake separated the manly men from the children. It was a veritable chocolate marathon.

    Seriously it took me like 10 minutes to eat and I eat really fast.
