yeah it looks pretty good. i wanted to make sure that we had something represented from the 4 camps of vegetarian, beef, chicken and fish, so i chose the one in each category that looked the best to me and would hopefully appeal to the largest number of people.

also i wanted to give options to people who wanted to order something kind of fancy and interesting and to people who are a little less adventurous in their food choices.

it was really hard trying to pare down that menu, guys. i did the best that i could.

also, i chose a hamburger-related appetizer for tarranon because of the cruel burger-related betrayal he faced in the second course selection

(the sliders look more closely related to little meatball subs, but that was the best i could do buddy)

Oh wow, yeah, fantastic job narrowing it down, Will. People's first choices may not be on there, but at the very least I'd be surprised if there's anybody who can't find something they like from every category.

I think a lot of people are going to end up getting the Wellington, it looks fucking delicious. :D

Edit: Ladyfingers are....sort of like pocky, right?

Yup, same here, haven't actually had foie gras or duxelles that I can think of, but I imagine it's gonna be pretty tastey. Also considering the chicken though, but I'm not a big risotto fan.

    so cool

Yeah, I was almost certain I was going to go with the tiramisu, but that crumble description made me pause.

I will probably decide when I get there. Same for the appetizer; it'll depend on how I feel on that day.

if i hadn't chosen the sliders i probably would have done the escargot instead

and i don't really know how many people would have ordered it besides me

so probably the sliders were a better choice anyways.

i kind of grilled the lady about accomodating a vegan.

she said that the risotto isn't made with chicken stock but is made with butter and they can't do anything about that, unfortunately. they didn't have any proper vegan entrees, but that they can offer you a great big salad and bread wouldn't charge you for the whole prix fixe price.

so sadly that is the best i can do for a full-on vegan, robos.

    sorry man

they were culled from the small ziti tribes of west africa and close-packed onto ships. they basically dropped off most of the zitis in barbados in exchange for sugar cane before continuing the voyage up to boston harbor, where sugar cane and the remaining zitis were exchanged for rum.

so basically the zitis qualify as "free range" for most of their lives.

Don't worry about it. The only reason I don't usually eat dairy is because regular consumption seems to fuck up my skin, so making an exception here or there isn't a big deal.

And I eat hard boiled eggs for protein nowadays, so I'm not actually vegan anymore.
