    That'd make sense, there's definitely some sort of higher power directing them

    presumably his original color is corrupted some by the virite code, so it transitions from royal blue to a lighter purple

    from the concept art of the main character you can see his staff is pinkish, possibly something he recovered from virite code

    I'm interested to see where they take this series
