So in this instance you gotta use the version of lex luthor that appeared before being a superman villain, a guy who used a space rock to give a homeless man psychic powers, is then eventually killed by the homeless man, who then loses the powers.

If you're playing Adept, you're going to be on the bottom of the leaderboard in the vast majority of cases, guns aside.
Adepts are basically built for support, not damage, so it's not uncommon for most of your points to come from assists, which usually puts you at the bottom of the board.
So it's not that you're ineffective, it's just how the class is built.
Also; don't buy fake points for fake video game stuff, unless you want to.

Dude ends up battling superman while doing insurance fraud schemes, that's not very good.
