One line that made me bust out laughing:
When Cap and Banner think it's a submarine, and Banner's all, "They want me in a pressurized capsule underwater with all of you? That's a terrible idea!"

Then they realize it's a plane, and he just grins, "This...is so much worse."

    I think my favourite was
"(watch what you say about Loki) He is still my brother."

"He's killed at least 80 people in the last 2 days."

    "...he's adopted?"

Oh my god yes. I mean, there were just so many, many golden lines throughout the movie, but that one whipped the entire theater into hysterics.

This has probably been answered thrice times over, but: Worth seeing in non-Imax 3D, and also does 3D have an extra extra scene or is that internet BS I read?

    Cap's line:
My first reaction was "Huh, that's a really old-fashioned thing to say"

    "Oh. Right."

    Tony/Loki:
I thought there was more to it than just his chest piece being in the way. Wasn't it implied that the arc reactor, the Tesseract, and Asgardian magic/tech all work on similar principles? I thought maybe the reactor was actually cancelling the staff's power somehow. I dunno, maybe I was reading too much into it.

Yes, the Arc Reactor technology Howard made is based on the Cosmic Cube Tesseract.

A hope/theory from earlier in the thread is that Vision would be modeled after Coulson and played by Gregg
It seems like long shot, but it would be amazing

I am curious as to where they are gonna slot in Dr. Strange

    cause

    AVENGERS SPOILERS
They are working on Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 next year, then Cap 2 and MYSTERY FILM the year later. Guardians of the Galaxy has to happen sometime since they are getting all cosmic with Thanos and Fiege is very talkative about it, and Ant-Man is probably finally materializing as well what with Wright and Marvel doing some heavy hinting.

So maybe it'll be another 4-year cycle to Avengers 2?

    2013: Iron Man 3, Thor 2
2014: Captain America 2, MYSTERY FILM THAT IS PROBABLY ANT-MAN
2015: Dr. Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy
    2016: Avengers 2

i thought it was just a run-of-the-mill bad review but no. what he's saying is that it was a good film and that's bad because it represents the evils of capitalism. woooow.

Just watched planet hulk on youtube

it was alright but I though the majority of changes were dumb and didn't add anything

Also hulk was a dick for way longer in the movie than in the book

    When did they say that?
I thought it didn't work because he tried to poke his staff through not a person.

    By the way
Did anyone else think that they threaded the helicarrier nicely by showing Red Skull's heli-technology in the Cap movie? Makes me kinda think SHIELD was like "Huh, this works" and took the idea and ran with it.
