Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I hear there's one in Birmingham or something.
Bad: I spilled some bourbon. The saddest thing.
Good again: There was more bourbon in the bottle! Must not spill...Must not spill...
I do
I am the worst at technology
Bad: It is fucking cold in Joshua Tree at night.
You did what!?!
But only because you drink out of a chalice.
There is no good side. Fuck
I stayed up all night last night revising the writing stuff I posted in WB because I agreed with the first bit of feedback I got.
That's bad!
I stayed up all night last night.
Better: Because doing the online application stuff will get me in the system again, and one of the people who has my old job may be moving into sales and so there is now a chance I'll get picked back up for my old job, which pays better than both the job I have now and the job I would be applying for online
Bad: I got T-boned yesterday on the way to my internship. Car isn't safe to drive, and I don't have collision insurance, so that's 2,000+ gone in a few weeks. Also, looks like my debit card info might have been compromised so I have to get a new one. That's not so bad, though.
*sigh*
Was it the other guy's fault? If so his insurance should pay to fix yo shit.
No, it was my fault. I tried to get into a median in traffic. I guessed that there wouldn't be a car coming in the second lane, and I guessed wrong.
Damn, had that happen to me on my birthday couple years ago. Can't wait till that one comes off my driving record.
Skipped uni lectures and exercises for 3 days, that's bad.
New guitar pickups arrived, that's good.
Couldn't put them in due to lack of wire stripper, that's bad.
At friend's home, LAN party, that's good.
Can't see girlfriend because of said LAN, that's bad.
Will see her sunday - wednesday, that's really good.
the bad: remembering why I need to and want to get out of this town/high school
Good: I'm actually working and being paid and it's not in fast food
Good - I just bought myself £30 worth of new music to make up for it
because that's how logic works.
I have no clue what your circumstances are, but getting out of my podunk town was great for me, and living somewhere other than the same house as my parents has been the best thing for our relationship.
I'm heading to college in the fall about an hour and a half away. It's not my parents, its the people that I've gone to school with and have continuously been around for the past...6 years now.
I've never fit in here, I've always been the weird kid and I've always had very few friends. Even with the friends I have it's hard as all hell to even strike up a conversation when we're not at school and rarely do I get them to hang out. When I do, it's great, but that rarely happens.
I'm just sick of seeing these people day in and day out that never give me the time of day.
I lived in a house full of people like that for almost a year and because I at one point thought that they were actually my friends they helped cause a mental breakdown that led to me dropping out of school for the time being.
and I can tell you.
moving away from people like that, is really, really nice.
