This is the scoville scale.
It measures the piquancy of peppers. Piquancy is a fancy way of saying if you're eating mouth mace or not.
Today I had some of these babies
which almost taste as sweet as a tomato! But I am way into other kinds of peppers too and one day I will try them all. Even the Bhut Jolokia (Naga Ghost Chili)

these are thai hot peppers. or bird's eye chilli's.
I had about 150 of them dried and frozen that I purchased at the beginning of the summer. There are about 20 left between the two bags. They are painfully delicious.
