PAX and Dragon Con, both on the same weekend. So we may have a week off without any games running - though if anybody wants to run a game right now, the floor is currently open. Just let me know if you plan to run a game!
Who else is ready? I am nearly ready to put something together. Nothing grand, but it will be something to play. If someone else has something more elaborate ill be willing to delay it though.
I played more mafia at PAX this year than I think I have in the last 1-2 years here. Tough to find the time these days for a 5-8 day game. That's my excuse at least.
So, one of the games you folks introduced to me at PAX was One Night Werewolf, this is something I could run here (or a variation), seeing how it can be run in 2 days, instead of say, 5 like a mini and can be run a few times in a row or something.
I think it could work, am I missing something obvious on why this isn't a good idea or wouldn't work out well?
I think a thread for it where people signup and schedule in sessions would be pretty fun.
Kinda like Denada's King of Tokyo, where games are quick and rotate through a list of potential players, "who can play this next one?"
Instead of a multi-day thing though it would be a three hour window or such. Have people play by thread, host PMs all roles and gets their actions in response (timing isn't important as the host can resolve once all orders are in), then let players loose in the thread (no PMs between players).
Gives people a couple hours to discuss then make their votes.
Robot Phalla could be fun. I have also reopened my notes on my Phoenix Wright Phalla and am currently revising the game to simplify mechanics while maintaining the unique flavor of the source material.

I think you're right. Seeing how fast the werewolves can react to the claims happening is fun to watch. Do not underestimate Echo or Infidel.
