There is a good sushi train place, lots of decent bars where you can get food to eat, including one of my favorites where my friend works where you can sit outside and hella people watch, ummm then there's all the parks and like scenery and shit. It's cool, I really like it there.

So if we can find a restaurant/pub that would be better.

Well, you basically can't walk two blocks in Portland without coming across a bar. The place with the widest selection of beer I've personally found is a little ways from downtown, but there are also -- like, nah -- man, there's so many places to chill, drink, and eat. You can go pretty much anywhere. Personally, I'm one more for playing by ear than anything.
I've only been to Dante's once and I was non-plussed, but even if I wasn't meeting PA'ers I'd probably be kicking it right near there anyway.
One of the roller derby teams -- the Break Neck Betties -- is always down at the bar next to my house, I'm curious about them. Are the Betties going to be at the Saturday thing?

Thanks to the OLCC, anyone under the age of 21 has to vacate the Baghdad by the time they start serving beer at 10:30.
@ Celery: Its not because its Dante's, its because those three bands are really good Nerdcore artists. And the Rollers All-Star Team is composed of the four smaller teams, so I wouldn't be suprised if members of the BNB are going to be playing Saturday.
Hmm....forget about going to the Baghdad. I see too many complications. Maybe that Home Theater place a block down from Powells if ya'll want to watch an independent film while eating dinner.
Ground Kontrol at night is out cause of the under 21s...But Backspace is still good cause its an all ages internet cafe.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest ends on the 22nd.
Backspace would be a good place to hang out, plus its got an art exhibit going on. Not as good as last months.
And we have to visit Voodoo Donuts at some point in time.
Maybe go to the Baghdad for a cheap movie and booze (sorry kids).
