You could tell Perez was in hero mode after that first swing. Bumgarner and Posey just used that against him and kept throwing him garbage that he couldn't possibly hit.

Perez is in hero mode every at-bat. He's their BJ Upton. Check the wild card game. He came up in crucial positions every single time and fucked them up constantly. I think he ended up getting the winning hit but he needed like four tries with men on base to do it
