    Is the pc version bad?
The 360 version is in my top ten games of all time!

Considering I just played through the whole thing a few months ago.. No, it's not. Plays perfectly fine on my machine. Fun game.

@Jazz re: The Long Dark. When foraging, you choose what type of wood you're looking for with the three tabs at the top. Kindling, softwood and hardwood. For the safe, you can crack it. Go very slow and listen. It will click, and one of the lock icons will open when you find the right number.

I bought Dungeon of the Endless when it was on sale Saturday, and I regret nothing.

Yeah, the only issues I can remember having with Enslaved on consoles was crazy tearing and maybe some weird difficulty spikes with those damn timed robot fights

Dungeon of the endless is so hard. I got to the second floor, realized I had zero resources because I set up an elaborate choke point for being able to escape. Whoops. Seems like a very "skin of your teeth" type game.

    Some quick tips:

    1) Play on very easy. Seriously Easy is a lie and will murder you relentlessly

    2) Escaping on early floors shouldn't require a large resource investment. You should have enough dust to light the safe path there and any dangerous side rooms. It helps to have a fast hero grab the crystal and everyone else to be waiting at the exit I find.

If you want more expert advice the actual Endless thread has a bunch of guys with way more time in it than me talking about what they use to win.

I'm playing on Easy and I'm not having too bad of a time with it. I think I'm on the 4th or 5th floor? I make a point of opening every single door, because that's how you get resources and stuff.

For people who might want to experience an amazing and beautiful game and easily GOTY 2014, Amazon has Dragon Age Inquisition on sale for $45 today. I get that this is not the "omg 75% off" Steam sale level of excite-generating, but holyfuckingshit this game is good. I paid $70 for it and don't begrudge Bioware a penny.

Damnit, was kind of hoping Skyrim didn't' get any cheaper so I could easily wait until Christmas sale. Now to decide if I should just get the base game for now or get it all. Child of Light also looks interesting. And I've wanted Shadowrun for a while. I beat Portal 2 on 360, but I should probably have it on PC too. Same with Xcom. Or maybe I should just play the games I have (ya right).

Weird. I'm 99% certain the last time Skyrim went on sale, all the DLCs were 50% off... which of course still made Dragonborn and Dawnguard individually more expensive than the Legendary Edition. Which makes exactly fuck-all sense. But this? Just compounding it, Bethesda! Dragonborn £9.37; Legendary Edition £6.79.

    Riddle me that.

(Other regions, YMMV. But that's the UK prices.)

Oh, I have them all. I just continually check it every sale because it now amuses me to no end how they decided to screw over people who had bought one DLC and none of the others at the time Legendary Edition came out.
