The podcast RSS if you're using it is going to spam you big time! EVERY EPISODE WILL BE MARKED AS NEW.
TURN OFF AUTO-DOWNLOADS especially over your phone data!
I sincerely apologise. I've just switched the podcast hosting over to a new provider and while all your apps and services will continue to work as normal (don't need to change any URLs etc). There was the small downside that the new provider (SoundCloud) has incorrectly marked the published date on the podcasts as YESTERDAY (the upload dates), instead of using the original publish dates I did set.
This has the very bad side effect that all your podcast apps are going to think every episode is new.
You should turn off auto-downloads and manually mark all the eps as "seen", then turn it back on. Or whatever your individual apps do.
It isn't going to be the end of the world, you'll download about an extra 2gb or so but that can be deadly on phones and smaller home broadband plans.
You will also note some episodes our out of order, again this is due to the same issue, some eps uploaded prior to others and it using the wrong date as the published date.
Anyway, that all sucked BIG TIME and I'll never do it again, this is the worst Saturday morning ever.

re: Skype sounds. That was Purevals connection repeatedly crapping out. I'm guessing Ayefkay cut the ones that weren't being talked over. Pureval was all over the place that night.
As to the failed discussion, it was simply that we were more organised by the time the second recording started. Turns out that having an unintentional rehearsal works well.
Yeah my ISP has been horrible lately, I can't seem to keep a connection long at all. We need some real competition in this area but I don't see it happening. That is also the reason I am pretty quiet, I couldn't follow the conversation.

I did enjoy the discussion, especially as I've been really happily collecting the KI pins in a post-release world. The perspectives shared from going through the events was fascinating. I do still look forward to the new pins as well.
But to fishfismonkey's srsbutnotsrs point, everybody having rather different sound levels is maybe something to be worked on. I normally use my sound system at a volume of 16 or so. A couple of you were okay from 18 upwards, but others I couldn't reliably hear until it was around 27-29, and when I've basically doubled my volume it makes any other sound on the system more than slightly disruptive ... :P
All the same, look forward to another episode. It's nice and chill to hear you guys just talk through things.

Again nothing changes, the RSS URL remains the same (community.pinnypals.com/feed/podcast) and you don't need to do anything but deal with your eps going "unplayed" again.

Have you guys thought about making it real-time? more interactive? like with a companion twitter conversation or something like that for listeners to post comments or ask questions.

I have thought about it, not sure we have discussed. Part of the problem is there is a LOT you don't hear. Segments aren't always recorded the same day, there is a lot of side chatter and off topic stuff and some people's internet connections like to randomly die.

The audio seems super quiet this time... and Pureval intro'd me for the first podcast segment but I wasn't there, so don't get your hopes up people when you're listening for me!
everyones sound levels will obviously be different, the podcast sounds fine on my end, i keep my volume at just under half way, but if its something i can do to make it a bit better, maybe if we get an average of everyones volumes i can try to balance it out for next time.
From the stash you sent me @agentcooper ? The entire bag of the Tim Tam bites, some of the scotch fingers (stole them off the table when I went to turn the tv on and something else I forgot.
