Fire Emblem Awakening drew a massive female audience, and Fates put "Pander to them as hard as you can." on the design board pretty prominently. In fact, that branch was probably more successful than the more obvious "Tits" stuff, considering the all audiences manga was cancelled in favor of a Leo focused Josei manga.
The thing that really gets to me about the female armor designs in Fates, though, is how... not sexy they are.
Like, Camilla and Charlotte, at least there I get it. Tubular Boobular Joy and all that, pretty clear what the appeal is supposed to be. But the pantslessness doesn't show anything sexy. It just looks stupid.
She's probably gonna replace Jeorge on my team, he just ain't cuttin' it like he used to
All she does is dunk on fools
