I'm playing Death Road to Canada and you can find gas in some toilets after you lift the seat
I wanted to ask in this thread if this was some sort of American thing I didn't understand (since it's the type of gas you use to propel your car to Canada) but now I'm sure it's just poopy humor

love thread i have some Love Updates but i gotta clear this out of my drafts first (and probably sleep first too, let's be honest it's like 5am over here)
So my neighbor/"brother"/best friend told me that his fiance's sister just broke up with her long-term boyfriend. I waved him off and said "please don't" when he offered to set me up with her because it would "be weird" but... part of me thinks it would be cool. I stayed up until like 3am playing Donkey Kong Country with her, talking about being theatre kids and giggling at internet memes not too long ago so maybe I kinda do have a crush.
Seeing myself up for failure again. I never learn.
I would not even bother. Just keep being friends and maybe something might develop on it's own but don't bank on it.
Unless she is some kind of robot, there is no way anyone can leave a major relationship like that and then get back even into casual dating in such a short space of time.

This would be my take. I don't see anything necessarily wrong with Donkey Kong Country love, but right on the heels of a breakup is probably not the time.
to tie this back to the earlier line of discussion about song associations i have VERY STRONG memories of watching my brother go through donkey kong country 2 on an emulator while playing anime OSTs in the background
chiefly, a live version of the revolutionary girl utena opening (the exact recording i have no idea how to track down, cos it was like late 90s/early 00s, but here's one from the same era)

Yeah my brother works over the river from there and he's fine, his building was under lockdown for a bit though which is exciting. They all got told to sod of home early so he's ok

I plan on being a grizzled old bastard, so it's not as big a deal for me.
Anyone older than 18 is old by anime years anyway, so I go with that.
I'm already telling kids to get off my lawn.
Part of me thinks she's already going to get beer and wings, so it's just a hey yeah we should hang out, and there's no romantic interest
The other part of me thinks it's wonderful that she suggested it
