Guys I really liked this movie. Just got back from it.
was it as good as the first one
i just watched the first one yesterday, so i haven't read this thread
Did you like the first one?
I would say that it was a really stressful movie. I was definitely stressed out afterwards and needed a smoke.
Towards the end it loses some of what makes it and the first movie fantastic, but overall I give it thumbs up.

yeah, i did
cillian murphy at the end reminded me of rutger hauer in blade runner
I really wish I could find some analysis of the first movie. Everytime I watch it, I see something new that I missed before. All kinds of symbols and references to earlier scenes in the movie. It really adds to the already wonderful story and character development.
Yeah, being entertained IS the bare minimum. Every film should be able to keep your attention and keep you entertained. In that way, it is part of the bare minimum.
New concept: there are degrees of entertaining. For example, two movies can both be entertaining, yet one can be more entertaining than the other.
So what? Let's use an analogy.
I won't date a girl if I'm not attracted to her. In other words, "being attractive is the bare minimum." Yeah, a girl can be attractive to degrees; there's a lot of room between "fuckable" and "jizz on sight." However, no matter how hot you are, it's still just a bare minimum. You may get a few bonus points for being extra hot, but it's just a side benefit; it's never gonna be enough to make up for a horrible personality. Past the first month or so, it's not going to make it OK that you have no common interests with me.
So yeah, movies can be more or less entertaining, but it doesn't matter; I simply expect entertainment at the bare minimum.
i don't think watching a movie is as much as a commitment as dating there defender.
movies are more like prostitutes
you wouldnt fuck a prostitute with a bad personality?

This is based on the whole plot of the movie? Not the trailer?
In 28 days later the "zombies" are explained and it's not complete fantasy like night of the living dead 3?
This is what I base my realism remark on. The first movie.
I don't want to argue, the last time I argued this much was over a movie. They have some strange grip on me.
If you liked the movie for what it was, that's cool. I'm not saying that's wrong. You can still enjoy it. I didn't, that's all I'm sayin'.

t Ori - Cillian Murphy fucking rocks. I miss seeing him in movies that are in theaters.

so i'll like this one, probably?
Although, I did miss the gratuitous Cillian Murphy penis.

Play The Mercenaries Game on Resident Evil 4. With a crowd of at least three other drunk people.
It gets pretty intense, the whole group screaming at you to wath out for the FUCKING CHAINSAW BITCH!
