Ok, I can live with the fact that they're a conservative station and that's the agenda they promote. I can live with the fact that they let Bill O'Reilly's wacky show go on day after day. I can live with the fact that they call every other news station in the world "biased liberal media".

But when you say that Mr. Rogers was an evil man and is a cause of society's ills, that's when the shit hits the fan.

You don't fucking mess with Fred Rogers. You just don't.


Next thing you know, they'll have a 24 kitty drowning and puppy kicking marathon.

    I have trouble stomaching extreme ideas from either side. I tried to read an Ann Coulter book once; made it through two chapters before I put it down.

    I walked out of dinner tonight because my dad was acting like a racist jerk. He started going on and on about how Islam is a garbage religion, and that if Muslims were really against terrorism, you'd see protests on the street of Muslims against fanatics, as well as a few other choice nuggets.

    Then he went on about how Muslims are trying to take away our rights.

    Right like Habeus Corpus and the right to privacy, I guess. Which is reasonable, I mean, what kind of a monster would try to strip that away?

    I agree to an extent about how the "You're Special" type self esteem programs that were taught in school (elementary) have led to kids believing they're entitled to things rather than feeling the need to excel or work hard for their goals.

    Hell, most don't have any goals beyond, say, The Biggest Truck, or Fuck A Lot of Chicks. (citing examples from my own personal daily experience)

    They taught kids to think highly of themselves, but forgot to teach them humility and to hold respect for others in positions higher than their own.

    i will talk more about this when it's not three in the damn morning
