I get to move back into my parents house in a couple of months while they move to Australia. Thank god. I've had enough of the guy beating his wife downstairs.

Why are you not intervening?
I am.
To clarify, this guy isn't around at the moment, last time he was here I called the police on him and now I have to go to court next month as a witness.

Lakewood, Ohio. Just west of downtown Cleveland. It's $1600 per month for 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, newly remodeled kitchen, two balconies, lakeside view, and I think 1300 square feet. Gas, heat, water, and central air conditioning are included as well as access to a party room, fitness center, and outdoor parking.
It's not cheap but with the amenities included I think it's a great deal. The view is pretty fucking spectacular for Cleveland.
Here's the living room:
You can see through to the kitchen:
Here's the bedroom. I forgot to change the air filter and uhh... that's what that black stuff is from. I need to wash that off the wall. My bedroom sucks.
In between the living area and the bedroom area, is my computer area:
The view is alright.
Not really big. I would estimate it at like 600 sq ft. It has something like 2 each of ellipticals, treadmills, stairmasters, and bike machines. It has 2 or 3 home gym setups and some free weights. It's not the most impressive of places I looked at but it's not bad at all for free, the equipment is fairly new, and it's open 24/7 so I can't complain.
1,000 square feet, 2 bedroom, bottom floor, close to the city and a pool. Rent is 717, utilities are 100-150 depending on the time of year. Oh, and a little patio with a reasonable size storage closet.
Damn, my place is boring.
It does, however, fit 2 couches, 2 computers on desks, a king sized bed, 2 rocking chairs, 2 or 3 tables, and 6 book cases to fit our (mostly my wife's) books, with plenty of walking space. I can host parties for the friends that don't live where I do!
Some three day old pictures, because I'm at work. Most of this stuff is already unpacked. Still haven't gotten my couch and loveseat from my parents though.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm paying 681/mnth including water, power, heat/air, parking, pool, underground mall access, and it's like 5 minutes in from the edge of Winnipeg, so when I want to get the fuck out of Winnipeg, it takes me little or no time to do so.

I have two roommates to help split the costs.

Nice little view out the bedroom window of the courtyard, with the rampart balcony on the right...

It's 750 sqft. 2 beds, 1 bath. And they cover up to $70 of the utilities.
man aren't you worried some internet dude is going to come find your apartment now
Fucking CA is expensive as shit unless you wanna live in a bad neighbor hood.
I am however close to downtown and its bars and shopping.
Also, I assume being walking distance from BART hikes my cost up.
Worried? No. I moved into a pretty gay neighborhood so I figured putting detailed information in a gay online community would make sense.
Hay, guyz! :winky:

We have a saying here in Winnipeg.
Like the saying goes in Alberta,
"Saskatchewan is a great place
I never finish anyth
I wish my apartment faced the lake, then I could take better pictures.
Still better than the 'burbs though.
