There's a hole in the wall. A Portal.

Well I just got the dual portal-gun.

I'm stuck in a room with... well there's a set of stairs off to the left, that lead to a small but empty room. Then in front of me the floor is made out of that black, un-portal-able material except for the very end, which is then followed by a glass wall with a forcefield on top. Behind the glass wall is another puzzle room, with an energy ball launcher.

Not sure if anyone can tell where that is. Doesn't seem to have a number.

EP1 was fucking awesome man. Sure it was short, but it was just 20$. Plus, you now get EP1 AND 2, Portal and TF2 for the price of one regular game.
Me, for even less, because the dollar is so deliciously weak compared to the euro <3

yeah just beat it.. it was short but fun. I am going to find the song from the end because it was pretty great.

Also there is an easter egg in the game if you pay close enough attention.

I have a gift of half life 2 and HL2 ep1 that I can give to someone.

But I don't know who wants/needs/deserves it.

But yeah, I am really liking the sense of humor valve has been bringing to its games. First Team fortress 2 and the characters/character videos. Now portal. It is great.

It is froth-worthy thinking of how they are going to use the portal gun in future half-life games. Or whatever mods people manage to make for this thing. If they can. The game itself was pretty fun and wacky. Nice puzzle stuff. Definitely worth getting the orange box for. But I would not have bought it for $20 on its own I think.. well I might have, but I would not have felt awesome about it.

Plowing my souped-up hotrod into Hunters while shooting massive stickybombs at the undersides of Striders to blow them up? Hell fucking yes.

And the cinematic physics, while not used often, were fucking awesome when utilized.
