Yeah, it's not as if I've not had pizza and pasta in Italy, or steak in Denmark (the Danish do great steaks), or goulash and dumplings in the Czech Republic (amazing) or wines and cheeses in France, or have even eaten a few traditional American foods.
Our curries are anaemic; that's true. The vast majority of the takeaway Indians around here produce very mild, bland stuff but I'd sure eat the spicier ones if they were available. You're better off making your curry here.
We produce some good pies (if you're a fan of pastry, which I'm not) and I love good roast vegetables (parsnip is an example of a very traditional English veg which I find super-tasty). There are also decent versions of many European dishes but really if you eat out in the UK it's not as if there's a huge demand for British restaurants - because mother makes them best :P Pub food has its charms.
But, like I say, our cookies and cakes are often in demand, and I love some of the sponge desserts we produce, too.
tikka masala is good, and that's a pseudo-british invention
As long as we're talking about biscuits (or cookies): Shortbread. Mmmh...
So simple, yet deadly.
Has to be all-butter, though! You can't make shortbread with margarine, it loses all flavour
James - I love Chopin, so that's okay
Really I don't like potato, I've never been sure why it's so popular. Parnsip and sweet potatoes make better crisps and chips by far! I have a real sweet potato craving, mmm...
My dog is bleeding out of the leg, and every time I go outside to try to bandage it or something, he starts wagging his tail and running away from me, eventually hiding under the deck because he's afraid I'm going to make him come in the house.

See, tikka masala is another food I don't really like. It's a very poor compromise between two flavours of food and, again, it's bland.

The British food is terrible thing is as tired a stereotype as Americans all talking like a Clint Eastwood
seriously be more creative with your racial biases at least.
Speaking as an American that lived in England for a year, it's no joke. I don't particularly like most American food, save for Reubens and the aforementioned biscuits and gravy, but I was so happy to get a decent steak when I came back.

I'm almost willing to look the other way at the whole slavery thing because of that breakfast.
Chopin and other piano pieces mostly, I'm not a Scriabin whore like some folk around here.

I don't fall for that. I demand cheese that is at least actually cheese.
Uh, the sixth rider in Excel. I don't know what's it called in English, sorry.

My dog is stupid.
STOP PUTTING ENGLISH PEAS ON EVERY PLATE YOU SERVE.
Seriously, they're disgusting.

Whenever an American says "baseball," an Englishman says "cricket."
Why?
Oh! Tools! Tools->Macro has these options:
Macros (Alt+F8)
Record New
Security
Visual Basic Editor
Microsoft Script Editor
And none of those bring back the window I am looking for.

Well fuck! What did you do?
Damn it I'll have to hand in my furry hat
That's not a racial bias. It's a cultural bias.
you have a furry hat?
Do you at least know what I'm talking about--the window thing?
