Look at those fucking things!

You want more?! You want chocolate?!

Check this shit out:

Oh hell yea Chocolate World Tour!

SE++ goes to Hershey Park.

I'm thinking September 13. That should give enough time for people to recover from PAX and put a little bit of cash in their pockets.

We get enough people and we can get a group discount on tickets and hotel rooms. People coming in early from far enough away can crash at my place, but I don't have room for everyone.

Roller coasters, chocolate and strangers from the internet. What could go wrong?

13th would be fine i think

i told my dad that i'd need the car sometime for this (since i don't have one of my own), so i'll clear this past him. depending how we organize stuff i think driving up (err, down?) the night before would be a decent idea for me.

also, the 17th will be my birthday, EVERYONE BRING ME PRESENTS

oh man Hersheypark is the best place ever

I have relatives in Pennsylvania and parts Eastern, so whenever there's a family reunion on that side of the country, we usually make a point of visiting

because it's like Willy Wonka's factory, only real

the first time i rode a roller coaster i was like 8 and scared of heights + scary things so i leaned forward instead of back as one is supposed to do on a roller coaster because i guess i thought i was gonna fall out or something (lol fall out)

the momentum of the loops and such kept smashing my head into the very metal front of the car i was sitting in, and my efforts to pull my head away only ended up setting my self up for another quite painful headbutt into the car

it was just like BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM every two seconds for the entire ride

i don't really like roller coasters

They've both made mention of it, so that's cool.

Yea, if you want to run a carpool of people from NY that'd be awesome.

Depending on how many people come I've found a few hotels for around 100 a night that are right down the road from the park.

I live about 35 minutes away and we can just play it all by ear.

Ooo, if they're still running the 3D show at the Chocolate Works you totally have to go. Much cooler than the free ride through the fake Hershey factory with animatronic singing cows.

We stayed at the Days Inn right on Chocolate Ave. It was the most moderately priced and still located close to the park. Drug store right across the street came in handy too for snacks, water, etc. Lots of parking right under the hotel (which is actually street level). Has a pool too.

Bears ate the penguins, and the bears are now constipated because of it. Hiatus for both exhibits.

Once I went on this wooden coaster in Mexico City for some dumb reason, at the bottom of the first drop it felt like my spine smashed into my lungs and I couldn't breathe for the rest of the ride. I made the choking signal to the person next to me but they just thought I was having fun so they just scream alaka baka daka lo siento like an idiot, I thought I was going to die.

Roller coasters are still awesome though

no, it's the fact that it's on a weekend, it's right after PAX, and it's right after I'll be getting a lot more responsibility at work, hence a lot less time off

The Santa Barbara zoo is badass for not being one of the really big ones. My extended family lives down there so I've been a hundred billion times but it is still so great.

And yeah the Portland Zoo is awesome too but I've only made it up there once. Unfortunately, when I went I was dragging a relative who didn't really give a shit and complained until we all left early. I need to go back by myself some day.
