How to add a server:
Before you start TF2, right click Steam in your toolbar and click on Servers. Go to the Favorites tab, click Add a Server, and type in the IP. Next time you launch TF2, go to the Favorites tab and select one of the servers that has people in it, type in the password (wang), and you should be good to go. Also make sure "Show map list" is unchecked in the bottom left. It makes finding servers stupid as hell.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no real PA TF2 Steam Group. The HoNC has a Honc Night group that occasionally announces a custom map night, but that's about it. To get involved and meet people post here and add the servers to your favorites and hop on.

So I wonder what they're going to do to make the trading system work. I mean, what will be the point of trading when within a few months everyone will get every unlock either through random chance or a quick trade? Willing to bet they'll start making unlocks have a limited lifespan. Add a bit of a metagame, with trading and whatnot. Actually this is just what I hope they'll do.

There are situations where the bonesaw is preferable to the ubersaw, yes. But more often than not, there isn't enough difference that 20% increased attack speed is preferable to building an ubercharge faster.

Ah. Well, still! The backburner is a side grade to the flamethrower, because shit... arguements of one being better than the other aside, they're both commonly used.

But the blustsauger is used by any medic who has played the class long enough to get 10 achievements, and has been since the medic update came out. Every time the servers aren't connected to steam, I cannot as effectively stay alive because the needlegun doesn't leech me health when I need it. The people who think MAX 5% crit chance is better than a method of fucking healing yourself while damaging the enemy are few and far between... and wrong.

The blutsauger is a very competent weapon for medium to light classes, and even heavies if you find one with its back turned.

I still have an issue with calling the repeated use of the Dead Ringer an exploit because the spy can't do any damage while it's out, so he's a distraction...here's the thing, whether or not he strings together using the DR 8 times in a row or runs away like he's "supposed" to, he's an equal distraction/threat.

Like I said in the last thread, if they remove it, fine, but I don't think it's anything that anyone should be getting kicked or banned over...

If it DOES get a substantial nerf, I'd like them to give spies the ability to actually SHOOT while holding it.

Okay, this is something I need fixed to want to play more. I have a pretty decent graphics card on this computer, at least for a laptop, I think a GeForce 8200M. I know the CPU on it's nothing to write home about, but this issue is something that's been driving me nuts.

When I play, at first it runs perfectly. At random points, and these outnumber those with no problems, my FPS drops substantially, making it much harder to play. It's not an issue of graphics or resolution or anything, as the game works exactly the same on Medium/High settings as it does with everything low. After maybe 5 minutes of the drop, it comes back to normal, almost like it's loading something. If this is relevant, I didn't have any of these problems when my computer was downstairs, closer to the router with a 150mb/s connection, and it didn't start until I brought it upstairs, with a 130mb/s connection. I have updated my video card drivers, and it helped a little bit, making the drops playable, somewhat.
