I love how several of you are anti-kid. The more anti-kid you are, the bigger a goofy parent you're going to be.

Sure some people genuinely never want children. The number of people that profess this is rather a lot smaller than the number of people who go through with it their entire lives.

Trust me, hit your 30's, and then we'll talk again. You'd probably rather show me pictures of your offspring by then though.

I have also like, 80 excell spreadsheets of number crunching that have been condensed into this wall of text. I have no idea how to even put them into the main document for printing!

An adobe binder would do this nicely. If not, I always found it miserable embedding asstons of charts into a word doc so I'm sure there is a better way. I personally have found that better way to be adobe...

Can you explain this binder thing more?

Today's the first day off from working at the restaurant in 15 days and the first day off from work and music-work in about a month, so I'm relaxin'. Laying the groundwork for some stuff that might evolve into that project with Roisin Murphy that I was talking about a few weeks ago.

Also I reread The Structure of Scientific Revolutions over the weekend and I had forgotten how amazing it is.

i am getting a vasectomy in a month

not because i am against the idea of having children entirely, mind you

i am just against the idea of me producing genetic offspring

    my genes are terrible

    i'm an evolutionary dead end

i should not be cursing the world and young children with my terrible DNA

    now, adoption?

okay, i can see that, at some future point

I don't really peg that as "never wanting kids" Pony. You just are more noble than most about it, I guess. Other than preach, there isn't really a good example right now, but I've seen people get really nasty about the kid subject in days past here on the forums. Elsewhere on the internets, there are people who honest-to-God think those that have children are evildoers.
