Bananas that are not of the particular, carefully and selectively bred variety that you can buy in shops are not in any way convenient.
Take a look at plantains if you ever come across them, they're closer to wild bananas but have smaller seeds. You practically need a machete to split them open.

In other news Puerto Rico just made official the firing of about 20% of government employees (about 17k people). Now the unions want a national strike, things might get pretty interesting.
Hey Quizzy how's your grandma, is she still all strokey?
She's still in the hospital for now. They are still evaluating her for physical therapy. She can't move her right side and the right side of her face is a little droopy so she is really slurring her speech. They have her on blood thinning medications to make sure another stroke doesn't happen but they can't pursue that as aggressively as they'd like because of how old she is. As for now, it looks like she will live, it's just what state she will be in when she leaves the hospital is unknown.
