Any word one when they should get the rest of the episodes? If they're going to be 4 or so weeks behind the actual show they might be shooting themselves in the foot- especially with the drop off that is already happening.
Does FX re-air the show throughout the week like many other cable channels? That could be the reason. Maybe they make more ad revenue from re-airings on their network than they would on hulu.
This really is a great show. I really hope it gets at least a second season. I can't help but think that a lot of the drop off could have been avoided if FX had decided to air the show along with It's Always Sunny. I'm pretty sure they didn't premier Archer until the last ep of Sunny, and that was just a bad move.

Yes they do, I have my DVR set to record the show every time it airs (but only keeping one in memory at a time) since it doesn't always mark new episodes as such. And it records about once a day during the week.

I suppose that makes some sense, I didn't realize Archer was on almost everyday or else I would have got caught up a long time ago.
Still, I hope they aren't going to keep Hulu too far behind because I wan't my viewings of the show to count for something.
I missed one episode and I have a thing about watching things in order. I was hoping to get caught up when they came out on hulu but who knows how long that will take.

There isn't a whole lot of continuity.

Or... any at all, really...
I'm fairly certain you could watch the episodes in any order and get every joke.

The Airhostest joke in particular you wouldn't get unless you had seen the pilot episode.
This show has SLIGHT continuity. Definitely not like Arrested Development where you definitely for the 3rd season needed to know what was going on in 1 and 2. There are jokes that you'd get from watching previously - "That is so classic her. . ." - but if you can't cherry pick an episode and laugh, there is something awful wrong. ANY of the shows serve as an excellent introduction to the show - all you need to know is Lana dated Archer, Mallory is Archers mom, Cyril is dating Lana and. . .that's about it.

I'm pretty sure past story events and jokes have been referenced, but there is no overarching plot.

I missed the last couple and was hoping to watch them on hulu....
Holy shit at this line.
So I'm completely caught up- I can't believe there has been a viewer drop off on this show.

It's also up against new episodes of Project Runway.
Which, um, may not be an issue outside of the very specific demographic that is my apartment.
But yeah, I've missed at least a few Archer episodes because, damn it, Thursday is Burn Notice/Project Runway night.

is that by any chance accessible in the US?

I'll check this fx-sweden when I get home though.
Such as the "ping pong paddle" reference right in front of the french air hostess who we last saw with a nice paddle shapped red mark in the pilot.
"the Danga Zone"
"What? Was diabetes busy?"
Also, Archer angrily shooting the chocolate fountain guy.
"That got a little dark"

even though they show up before that
She fantasizes about being strangled by a fireman that rescues her in a previous episode, I believe.
i forget which episode it was though (maybe the one before "skorpio"?)
but the marks definitely show up in the one with "Conrad Stern" as well, after the shrimp incident

I absolutely hate the way Lana says that. Everytime she does that I get this urge to punch her in the throat.
