This was a good episode. Is next week the season finale? I fear any big change that might come.
Next week is the last episode of the original 13 that were planned before NBC added 6 more.
There'll be two weeks of repeats after next week to kill whatever momentum the show might have built.

What's with the two week break? Are they not done filming the rest of the season? I noticed Community wrapped last week, I thought most shows stay on the same schedule.
Although, this is a one hour show and not a 30 min sitcom.

I would guess the two week break has to do with NBC being terrible at it's program scheduling. They have two episodes scheduled for the their last week, but the it doesn't seem like a two parter since the titles are very different.
the plotting they're going to have to do to keep everyone in burbank is going to be eyeroll worthy
i don't see this show eliminating almost the entire cast and moving to italy, but there really doesn't seem to be an elegant way to maintain the status quo

Eh, I can see
Ellie and Awesome in Italy or nearby country for DWB, maybe drop in every other episode or so. Chuck recruits Morgan, Casey, Sarah for Italy. That pretty much just leaves Jeffster and Big Mike. Given their performance this episode there might be a justification in hiring them as professional stalkers.
Or hey, maybe Chuck decides to open a new Buy-More franchise in Italy?
I should say, I'm feeling pretty confident that Chuck and Sarah are not going to just run away in the finale. I think it's much more likely that now that Sarah's come to terms with Chuck's spyhood she'll agree to be on his team/make the sexytimes with him in Italy.
Say, that reminds me: there's been a lot less gratuitousness concerning Sarah this season.
I enjoyed Chuck Vs. The American Hero alot. Lots of story arc progression for most of the cast.
The commercial music was sparse and the score was ligther than usual as well. Overall the writing has been superb but the show pacing at times has seemed off probably due to the reduced budget they are dealing with.
This coming mondays episode 3.13 Chuck vs. The other guy should be a great ride. Not really digging the two week hiatus but that is how NBC seems to do business.
Chuck yah later!

It's good to see him kick some real ass once in a while.

That chiptuny track playing at the end, that sounded kind of like the ending credit gave me good Perfect Dark vibes.
I sure hope it doesn't end with some kind of cliffhanger!
