Sazh actually sort of not really makes up for his low stats from the larger than normal stats on his weapons.
Also his blitz can be handy due to the unique way it works.
Snow...snow is just a second rate fang.
I'm in chapter ten or eleven, and I'm running around on pulse for the first time and most of this stuff just kicks my ass. The behemoths transform and commence to raping. Those Juggernaut machines in the mine area basically kill the entire party outright. The cryohedrons have this amazing knack for self-destructing right next to my party leader, killing them with one blow.
Am I even supposed to be fighting this crap?

This is exactly how it went for me, I just ran past everything and it worked out. You should look at the map in each new zone for an orange flashing cie'th stone and do those ones though

surprise attack the behemoths and launch them, don't go near the juggernauts and if a cryohedron is self destructing and it has more than 60% health at that stage just switch to combat clinic.

once you get the silence ability, cryohedrons become a joke
Snow's low damage output made me switch him out early. I never need the larger health pool that he gets.
Also never really used Sentinel untill the later Missions.

I killed the first behemoth I fought pretty easily, so I guess the subsequent spankings came as something of a shock.
I usually start out in relentless assault, and just pound on stuff until the stagger meter is good and established, switching into combat clinic to heal as needed. Then when I feel like I have a good opportunity to attack, I hit tri-distaster and go for the stagger, switching into aggression right after that.
Snow and lightning launch the guy up into the air, doing about 15k damage per hit. It doesn't end up being enough to kill it though, and he'll land at something like 15% health, transform, and proceed to kill lightning with a single attack.
I could kill the robots. Those box phalanxes are fucking pissing me off too though with their stupid little "Bravery/faith/protect/shell/veil/haste thing they put on their buddies.
The first time I noticed it I was like HA! I WILL KILL THE LITTLE GUYS BEFORE YOUR STRATEGY BECOMES FRUITFUL.

Who's the third person in your party? Snow should be a sentinel when he transforms if he's killing your lead character. Enemies are a lot more susceptible to saboteur attacks when staggered so switching to com/com/sab is good right at the beginning of a stagger.
I just got softrocked by 4 Cryohedrons 3 times.. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu---- AI needs to prioritize barfrost better. It is not something we can get around to after 2-3 of them explode.
Also... Bale... I got ruinaga. It. Was. Beautiful.
Posts
but thats just me
I still have a few left, just wondering.
this, so much. I swear to god in his third stage he reset his chain bonus bar 6 times in 6 turns.
farm gold
Dang. I'm glad I don't feel like platinuming this game because that would be a chore.
it seems like it's purpose too and I just dont understand
I mean even on the 9th level his orbs are worth so little
yeah, his stats are so bad compared to everybody else and I really do not understand why
As soon as it was possible.
good plan
because he'll take less damage, duuuuuuhhhhh

Fang and Lightning are pretty much always in though
but that's about it

then you'll be fine

behemoths I guess you do need a sentinel for if you just got to Chapter 11
once you get the silence ability, cryohedrons become a joke
good idea?
I just got 50 bucks from my insurance company so I can get FF13 by the time microsoft finishes fixing it
synergists are awesome
Also never really used Sentinel untill the later Missions.
I would always just debuff then murder everything
But yeah, I wish Sazh could be Hope. Gotta get to stage 9 before that'll happen. Haste is too powerful.
If you're just starting chapter 11, do missions 1-17. That'll boost you up, it's where I'm at right now.
