Being an engineer doesn't make you insta-rich, a median entry level salary for engineers here is about 3,5k/m to 4,5k/m. Roughly, which is not bad at all. But you need some really uncommon speciality or a lot of responsibilities on your shoulders to be a rich engineer. Or luck.
