Troll Country: orgy
Kislev: 2 peasants
The Empire: not enough, nope
Tilea: peasant
The Border Princes: leper, acolyte
Khorne earns one DIAL advance token. (I made an executive decision to have Khorne kill an acolyte in the Border Princes instead of the 2-defense seductress)
1. Remove Chaos Cards from the Board - Warp Shield dissipates
2. Hero Tokens are resolved - Khorne loses a bloodletter in Kislev and the Bloodthirster from the Empire
3. Resolve Old World cards - Slaanesh to remove a hero
4. Score Ruined Regions - Slaanesh scores 8 VP for first place in Troll Country; Tzeentch and Nurgle score 2 VP each for the tie for second.
Tzeentch scores 10 VP for first place in Kislev; no one earns second.
5. Advance Threat Dials - There is a tie for most tokens; Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh each tick once Khorne:
32 - Draw 2 Cards Tzeentch:
21 - Place 2 Warpstones Slaanesh:
16 - Place 2 Nobles
This was by far the closest game we've had yet; all four gods were in place for VP track victory at the end, and Khorne could probably have won by DIAL with different play.
General reminder: Khorne can still get DIAL tokens from ruined regions, so taking everyone out of Bretonnia left Slaanesh free to use his cards instead of having to move out all of his seductresses.
I'm guessing El Skid and I were the only ones considering his ruination of Kislev - if Khorne had spotted that possibility, he needed to keep one bloodsworn in each of Kislev and the Border Princes. I think that would have also locked up the win for him (since then he either gets 10 VP from Kislev ruining or 7+ from at least second place in the Border Princes).

admanb was on to it too.
I dunno, Adman spent alot of time moving lepers to the border princes, so if he caught on either it wasn't until the end, or else he wasn't confident I'd see Kislev as an option. Or he was like me taking a while to realize that only 5 regions total could ruin, so Border Princes was totally irrelevant.
Regardless, once the card slots were full in Kislev, anyone other than Khorne getting in on the ruination was impossible without giving Khorne a DIAL victory.

Yeah, I didn't realize what you were doing until it was too late to do anything, and then realized that doing anything anyways would give Khorne a tick.

This was NOT true. At the time, everyone still had enough PP to evacuate the Border Princes and move everything into Kislev instead. That would favor Slaanesh, though, since his seductresses are most likely to survive the dice explosion.

I suppose there could have been a concerted effort by all parties. Khorne was going to be rolling *8* dice though, minimum (+2 more for each cultist he moved over) At that point Khorne would be choosing the winner,if it wasnt him.

I don't know. Having played Khorne I can attest the absolute hatred the dice have for giving Khorne an easy time and this seems to increase with the more 'certain' the outcome is for him killing things.
I do believe I managed to hit a 1% probability with my dice in a game that Rius was in.

The 1% ones are the most fun. Having your Bloodthirster get 9 hits is fun for you as Khorne, having all 10 of your dice miss is fun for everyone else. :P

Anyway, thanks so much to Darian for running- I had a great time, even if I was occasionally ganged up on, stymied, and just plain dumb!

The populous zones were scary. Nurgle really needs the ruination upgrade before the first or second ruination, but I felt like I was getting chased out of my zones.

Yeah, first turn when I changer of ways'd the Field of Ecstasy in the Empire, I was at least as concerned about you as Slaanesh.
Once Nurgle gets a foothold in the Empire he's a goose to get out, and can rack up alot of points.
Sorry about that :P

The two Temporal Stasis' in a row didn't help. I dunno. I probably should've been more accepting of Khorne's axe to my face in exchange for occupying better zones. The move to Tliea was poor.

Domination step:
Troll Country: tied
Kislev: +3 VP
The Empire: +5 VP
Tilea: +2 VP
The Border Princes: +1 VP (pact negates others' figures)
The Badlands: +1 VP
Corruption step:
Troll Country: +1, +2, +4 DIAL, +2 DIAL
Kislev: +1
The Border Princes: +1, +3, +2
The Badlands: +1
Check for ruination:
Troll Country is the fourth region ruined (1 + 4 + 4 + 9 + 2); each god scores 5 VP for contributing to its ruination this step.
Kislev is the fifth and final region ruined (7 + 5). Tzeentch scores 5 VP for contributing to its ruination this step.
Nurgle gets 6 VP for his provender upgrade.
Updated VP:
Khorne: 33 + 13 = 46
Nurgle: 29 + 13 = 42
Tzeentch: 26 + 10 = 36
Slaanesh: 33 + 7 = 40
DIAL advance tokens
Khorne: 1
Nurgle: 0
Tzeentch: 1
Slaanesh: 1
Board at the start of the end phase:
1. Remove Chaos Cards from the Board - Warp Shield dissipates
2. Hero Tokens are resolved - Khorne loses a bloodletter in Kislev and the Bloodthirster from the Empire
3. Resolve Old World cards - Slaanesh to remove a hero
4. Score Ruined Regions -
Slaanesh scores 8 VP for first place in Troll Country; Tzeentch and Nurgle score 2 VP each for the tie for second.
Tzeentch scores 10 VP for first place in Kislev; no one earns second.

Updated VP:
Khorne: 46
Nurgle: 42 + 2 = 44
Tzeentch: 36 + 12 = 48
Slaanesh: 40 + 8 = 48
6. Check for Game end -
With five regions ruined, the player with the highest VP total wins.
There is a [strike]three-way-[/strike]tie for the VP lead; tiebreaker is the Threat DIAL. Thus:
TZEENTCH IS THE VICTOR!
Well played, guys! And congrats to Khorne!
This is the BESTEST THING.

1) I forgot I'd get the point from Princes because of the pact.
2) I realized too late that you'd be sharing points for 2nd place in Troll.
