So, upstanding citizen and community leader Jerry Falwell just died.

Is it bad that the only thing I feel bad about was that he wasn't found on top of an underaged hooker?

    I must admit, part of me is very happy that he's dead............

    Though I wonder if the guy (and it will be a guy) who replaces him in the public sphere is gonna be any better.

    Jerry Falwell is the one that went to war with Larry Flynt in the 80's.

    I can understand not liking the guy, but at least get it right.

    No no, this is the guy that blamed 9/11 on the "gays and lesbians". I don't know the exact quote, I just remmeber it from a Lewis Black stand up routine.
