    Bryan Cranston was in a few episodes of this show - they did a decent job at picking great character actors for bit roles.

    I feel as though this is the best thing

    roddy piper is pretty much guaranteed to be radical in any acting thing he does.

    The first season gets measurably better every episode (although, in fairness, its pretty much starting from 0 on a 100 point scale with the pilot). Not that Sinclair gets any better as an actor, but everyone else gets better. I recommend watching season 1 while doing something else, and if you find you just can't stand any more of an episode, find some source to explain the episode and move on to the next.     the cruel irony of that of course is that two of the best/most important episodes of season 1 are all about Sinclair

    I remember seeing an episode of Law & Order a few years back that had the actor who plays Sinclair playing the bad guy of the episode - he still had the same painful delivery / acting.

    Looking at the episode listings, I forgot about the season 5 episode "The Corps Is Mother, The Corps is Father". That was a good episode as well.

    Ok, on episode 3 so far and I agree that it's definitely getting better compared to the awful pilot. So far it's not too bad. Most of the lines still fall pretty flat, but Ivanova's comment in episode 2 was good, "I'm Russian doctor. We understand these things."
