I'm supposed to get up in 3 hours. My sleep schedule gets so fucked during the summer. I stay up a few hours too late and then I sleep for 12 hours and occasionally more. They say that if you just sleep and wake up whenever then you will feel refreshed and awake but that rarely ever happens for me. I wake up "whenever" and it's far more than I should have had and I feel like crap. Occasionally I set an alarm and happen to fall asleep at the right time so I do wake up feeling wonderful but that's rare.

If I could find a job then I would be alright. Having something to get up for helps a lot with keeping the schedule straight.

Oh! And I fiannly got rid of most of my sideburns. I had never consciously realized how absurdly long they were compared to the norm, they always just grew that way and I let them be. So now my face is lookin different AND missing a fixture from the past ten years.

I can't grow facial hair for shit. It's just sparse and takes a long time to come in.

My thinking is that part of it is simply because of constant changes in your physical state and mannerisms. You remember that time you crashed your bike? You exaggerate the speed because of your size, the looming hulk of the fence above you.

Your state of mind and cognizance has far more to do with it, but it does explain why sometimes you can only think of aspects from a certain angle when you remember them.

That's kind of how I feel. Usually when I'm gone, it's for a year or two at a time and for no particular reason.
