OK so who are we ganking today

Anyone fancy being part of the Gump Gank Squad? Our fists are rusty, and metallic

Given the way the vote's going, 'Gumpy Gank Squad' seems a bit ambiguous...

Hmm, the idea of all of us ganking the same target is somewhat appealing. It'll limit the number of people the mafia can gank, because they'll have to use all 5 of themselves on the same target to have a chance at killing someone off. And it will limit the number of offshoot squads that can kill people. Unfortunately, it will make the game less crazyfunchaotic. Playing crazy versus playing smart, actually a tough decision.

And kime is as good a buff target as any.

I'm sure we can all trust Kime with nigh unlimited power. There are no drawbacks to this idea.

In addition, I am voting for facetious.

Is the blue buff more useful to some character? (like, say, mages?) Are there other buffs?

Do we think the mafia doesn't have a mafia kill separate from the gank mechanics?

I'm guessing the gank is just like the evidence thing.

My guess is one or two of them might have a kill as an active ability.

The blue buff will benefit any champion. Clarification denied.

Directly comparing games is silly; I would think a group kill if not two is most likely.

In any case, forming small gank squads may be useful at this point. However, please remember these are soft networks (unless you're masons) so providing too much information here can get our specials killed rather quickly.

mafia tactic? If you don't want to risk putting it on one of you - make sure the buff is on someone who dies?

Peccavi's idea of ganking one seems solid. More kill control (slower games tend to benefit us) and everyone is protected. On the other hand soft networks that discuss can find out shit about people's preferences and what they turned up as.

So I wonder then, if we're behind that idea as a village, if we should publicly vote in a separate color (something meaningful to us) on who to go for. It would need to be public or it won't work at all.

Is there a maximum gank squad size that will benefit from protection?

If so, how will the size of the party be split

    Sidenote: Never split the party.

I don't care so long as you vote.

You might d/c randomly though, LoL is known for that.

I was thinking we could gank vote in purple, easiest color to differentiate since blue, red, and orange are already in use.

I was thinking that most people would switching to the winner of the purple vote. If that's too complicated, fine.

Public gank vote is the perfect way to hide the mafia. Since they can do it and guarentee a kill for anyone not them.

This is probably speculation, but anybody who kills the one who gets the blue buff will likely steal it themselves. So pick a target, then gank them!

But wouldn't whoever wins be targeted by a whole gank squad? Who would get it then?

The point of the big group gank is to prevent the mafia from being able to gank.

If 25 people are village and all try to gank Player X, the mafia can do nothing else but watch that player get ganked, since they will not have a more powerful gank than 5 and therefore will be unable to gank anybody.

If we spread out the ganks, they will likely gain an additional kill that we otherwise could have prevented. the group gank slows the amount of kills in the game down and still puts the majority of the vote power in the hands of the village aligned players.

Your vote against a person trying to organize the village leaves me highly suspicious of you Bedlam

EDIT - Why did it break when I quoted...?
