Phalla's Arch had quaked in fear for days, the insane monarch slaughtering citizens wholesale, then bringing them back to life as various halloween-like animals. His jokes were awful, and if you didn't laugh he would kill you, then bring you back to life as a horrible, hideous servant. Or a baby quaggan. He was, after all, mad.
DAYS? I JUST FLEW IN FROM THE UNDERWORLD!
AND BOY, ARE MY ARMS TIRED! LAUGH, DAMMIT! LAUGH!
With the Pact's recent victory over the Elder Dragon Zhaitan, the Commodore had few allies to turn to, other than the Pact and Destiny's Edge itself. A desperate message was sent to the champions of Tyria, requesting their aid against the menace of Mad King Thorn. Within a day, the forces of the Pact had assembled and marched on the bewitched city, brandishing weapons, led by Marshal Trahearne, flush with victory.
As they surrounded the plaza of Phalla's Arch, the Mad King rose from his seat, his weapons raised. The forces of the Pact shouted as one.
YOUR MAD KING SAYS... PLAY PHALLA!
OH, AND THERE'S SOME MURDEROUS MONSTERS HIDDEN AMONGST YOU. NOW DANCE!
With that, the Mad King summoned unfathomable arcane energies, transforming the champions of Tyria into a mass of identical clones, and two dead bodies. The game was on... and nobody was laughing.

Me and Kilnaga brainstormed a bit over some numbers and what our ideal 30-man phalla would look like. This is it. Village vs. Mafia, no statblocks. Inactivity will result in punishment by the Mad King. This may or may not be worse than death. Activity is defined as two posts and one vote.
