I would like to seperately nominate INANTP for Phalla of Cables, which as always had strong writing, but specifically featured a phalla where Infidel was an NPC program that personified one of the votes (there were two votes, as everyone had two roles), and players had three identities in the narrations - two roles and then their actual forum names. The game was brilliantly written and was about the community as much as it was a game, where stuff like this happened where a player is killed where a majority of their recent phalla game activity is mentioned. He also started adding soundtracks in this game (as links to youtube videos embedded in the text) which just further enhanced the experience. Keeping everything straight in a game where people could be mafia and village at the same time was fantastic.

Out of a body of work, I think Cables is probably his best complete game narrative.

That was amazing and looks incredibly complicated, I will second INANTP for that.

I would do the addition to "Can I join the mafia?" of "Is the safety off on my gun?", but I think the Phalla that's based on is too far in the past, so not sure if it's the best nomination.

One of my personal favourite sets of narration is actually Rend's TIME CUBE PHALLA. Usually when people are thinking about these awards they're thinking of grand sweeping fantasy narratives that accompany the games, but my mark of a good narration is one that fits the setting and tone of the game. Time Cube Phalla fucking nails that. It probably didn't take Rend all that much time to write but it doesn't matter, because it's everything you thematically need. It's surreal, it's weird, and through it you get little teasing tastes of the world you're in. Sometimes good writing is having confidence in saying very little.

Now, I don't think it's going to win, because it's not new, but it deserves to be recognized.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and nominate someone whom I personally feel like is an integral part of any Phalla experience. Namely, me.

Ringo for narrating Perchance to Phalla because I had a fun writing it, and some of you even claimed to like it!

Oh yeah?! Well you know what I think? Your grand fantasy is dumb, and your nomination dumber.

What really matters is a sweeping epic of high comedy, and your Rend just can't deliver that.

    But you know who can?

Rend in his masterful rendition of The phalla where Alegis Got Ringo Killed by Darian

I read a bit of a couple of old phalla threads and many of them did not go at all how I remember.

Also, I keep meaning to vote, but am comically unable to keep the meaning of any of the colors in my brain for longer than five seconds.

Meanwhile, people are talking about a whole lot of new fangled players and mechanics and events that I've never heard of and don't understand.

I feel a sudden urge to grab a cane and start yelling at a cloud about the good old days.

    Guys, guys.

Infidel is trying to send us a message.

The Phallawards are in us all!

We don't need shiny narrations and gleaming statues to tell us who the best people in the world are. We already know. Everyone who has ever played a Phalla deserves an award. Everyone who has ever played has changed the experience of another person, for better or for worse.

We get so blinded. By "Grudge Votes." By "Rivalries." By "Metagaming" (whatever the fuck that is). What Infidel is showing us is that even in the absence of a well-written, over-the-top narration, we can still celebrate each other. And we deserve it.

This is a community. Each of us has hopes and dreams. Through the past year, all of us have developed friendships with these people. We've laughed, we've cursed, we've even felt sad.
Truly, we are blessed to have each other.

Infidel, I heartily commend you for reaching past our self-serving mindsets and really making us look at each other. Only someone as genius as you could have realized that perhaps the best narration... was none at all.

So I say, my good friends, let us all raise a cool frosty glass of liquid and toast to everyone who is involved in this wonderful entity we call Phalla.

Today was a strange day. It was the day that people honored being fucked. People came in and voted on how they liked to be fucked. Some liked being fucked by the forces of nature. A force that rivaled that of Captain Planet. One that could summon that earth, wind, fire, and heart. But he was outfucked. Another fucked huge monsters in various timelines while helping a little elven dude get his rocks off too, yet he too was outfucked. Two others, I'm told my fine co-presenter of the night Ron Jeremy, were Sith Lords who used some kinky time cube thingy or some shit to go around a temple fuck with people in one room and then go to another room fuck some other people, and then go back to previous room and fuck those other people again: outfucked.

Ultimately it was the immaculate conception magic man the Invicible Man (Cythraul) and his protégé hunchback fucker of Notre Dame Igor (Obifett) who were considered the best fucks of 2010-2011.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the best male gigolos in phalla : Obifett and Cythraul! Give it up, sons!"

As Egos announced the Winner for Best Betrayal : Obifett and Cythraul (House of Phallenstein)

An odd blue faced figure dressed like David Bowie had appeared behind both of them

"The two have you have done well, rarely I have seen such vigor in humans. I bestow upon you both a gift"

You notice several rules in the book
    • The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
    • This note shall not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
    • If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the person's name,it will happen. If the cause of death is not specified the person will simply die of a heart attack.
    • This note shall become the property of the human world, once it touches the ground of the human world.
    • The owner of the note can recognize the image and voice of its original owner
    • The human who uses this note can neither go to Heaven nor Hell.
    • If the time of death is written within 40 seconds after writing the cause of death as a heart attack, the time of death can be manipulated, and the time can go into effect within 40 seconds after writing the name.
    • The human who touches the Death Note can recognize the image and voice of itsoriginal owner, a god of death, even if the human is not the owner of the note.
