Again why where I did my PhD is shit - I got fuck all teaching and so have a hard enough time competing against those with three years of TAing, let alone people who have already had Teaching Fellow or Lecturer positions.

I was given some leftover turkey yesterday from Easter dinner.
What to do what to do.
I was going to make a turkey stew, but when I got to the grocery store, I realized I had no idea how to make the sauce. I know tomato and cheese sauces.
So cheese sauce it is. Fried potatoes, onions, carrots, peppers, mixed with corn and the turkey I had, with a really creamy cheddar sauce that I made from scratch and holy hell. It was so good.

I was having trouble mixing tracks with lyrics, since a hip-hop song for example might only have a few bars of un-rapped-over beat in which to start transitioning. But I realized that I could map the same track to both decks, find that clear space, and crossfade over at the appropriate time after setting up a loop to give myself a little breathing room.
So then I started mixing where it would be [sick Atmosphere verse] -> [dat beat] -> [transition in the funky funky funky funky funky fresh riddims of another track] -> [OH SHIIIIT THAT SECOND ATMOSPHERE VERSE FROM THE FIRST TRACK]
and also started experimenting with looping the beat on one deck so I can crossfade over while scratching backwards in a verse to repeat a few lines without losing the riddim

Hey, did you finalise your itinerary for NZ?
Kind of. I'm spending about half of my time in cities, and those days I basically have down as "dick around in city X." I'm making a list of things I want to do in/around those cities, but nothing concrete. I want flexibility, especially in Christchurch because my friend works three jobs and doesn't know her schedule very far in advance. A few other things I have finalized, mostly the tours I need to plan ahead of time (eg I'm going on cruises to Milford and Doubtful Sounds). My plane leaves Washington at July 5th, I arrive July 7th, and leave July 23rd.
also my english course has completely dissuaded me from pursuing liberal arts so im probably going to put myself through extra schooling to get compsci because liberal arts is disgusting and I want no part of it

It's good to get out of the treehouse every once in a while and meet new people anyway. There are some seriously excellent people in the ME3 thread who I play multi with now (aside from the people who also do [chat] like Cambiata, Carrot, Corehealer, TTODewback, Ronaldo etc).
I was very pleased I stayed through the whole credit sequence.
I didn't realise they were doing a Marvel.
I didn't stay but watched it on Youtube. If it's a universe where there's no Comstock, I'm imagining that Anna should still be there? I can't think of any reason why she wouldn't be.

I agree she would exist as the infant. But I don't know if the trans dimensional jumping Elizabeth would still exist as she was the product of Comstock. But her power may have dropped her out normal time and space like it did the Luteces.

Also people should stop bitching about holiday forum events, Icy works hard on them and it's not unreasonable that the first time for an event is less than perfectly planned.
Next time they do the kidnapper thing they will adapt based on what was learned this time. The Valentines event was superb on the first go, and that probably set the bar a little high for April Fool's.
