It's all right, better when it doesn't focus on Anakin, Padme, or Ahsoka. Obi-Wan is "meh" as a character. The clones and the villains tend to be way more interesting, followed by the other Jedi.
Someone just informed me it includes (not sure if this is a spoiler or not, type of character not a specific character)
Jedi Temple Guards with double bladed YELLOW light sabers! Is this the first non Red/Blue/Green saber that is outside of books or games?
As far as I know the first instance of a yellow lightsaber was the original Luke Skywalker action figure. I believe it had a retractable yellow saber.
It's mostly the same as it ever was: WoW, reskinned for Star Wars, with a few improvements made a few unimprovements made. They've done a lot more convenience things since launch, and it's a lot more stable and optimized these days.
If you already played it and found the gameplay inoffensive, it's definitely worth looking into just to finish the Agent story, depending how far along you were.

It's still very WoW 2.0. Current WoW feels streamlined as fuck compared to ToR/
I was wandering around the game store the other day, and spied the "Edge of the Empire" books. I flipped through them and instantly remembered how much I adore the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars Galaxies was the fucking shit when I was like thirteen
It was super ambitious and fascinating to be a part of and I had a lot of cool friends there
But holy shit that game was run by a gaggle of fucking morons with zero idea of what they were doing, what they had done, or what they wanted to do at any point
The whole thing was a beautiful fucking spiral that almost course corrected a couple of times until someone got wind of it and said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHERE ARE WE GOING LETS DO THIS INSTEAD" and the spiral continued

I still lament what happened to SWG. Still.
Edge of the Empire is so gooooood.
I believe it, I just don't have a pen and paper group any more.

You can make one with friends. I mean, who doesn't like Star Wars?
can anyone remember the original requirements for becoming a Jedi in Galaxy
didn't it literally take months
Originally there wasn't a way but people thought there was, which was really funny
People thought these super rare and useless items called holocrons were the key
Eventually the devs patched in a way to become Jedi using the holocrons, and it went like this:
Find a holocrons and use it, burning it in the process
Holocron tells you a profession, like creature handler, or chef
You master this profession
The game rolls dice behind the scenes to either unlock a secret skill tree called "force sensitive" or not
Usually not
Return to step one and repeat
Even if you ever unlocked the tree, mastering it to unlock one of the higher trees like ACTUAL Jedi was rough because using any force sensitive skills automatically flagged you for PVP with... Pretty much everyone, I think
It was actually really cool, because getting to be a Jedi was super hard and therefore super rare, and you had to stay hidden until you were powerful enough to flash your saber (which you crafted with super rare materials) in the middle of a star port
And there was a rumor (never confirmed I don't think) that if you died three times in PVP after that, you died FOR REAL and became one of those blue force ghosts and couldn't do anything but run around and talk to other Jedi anymore
But that might have gotten patched out or never been true
Which was part of the fun! And what got removed the moment they made Jedi a starting class
Are there any other Star Wars games being made at the moment?
What kind of game?
Fantasy Flight Games is making pretty much everything Star Wars that isn't electronic right now.
On the role-playing front, Edge of the Empire aka Be Han Solo is out. Age of Rebellion aka Fuck the Police Empire is due out this summer. The Jedi-centric Force and Destiny is due out sometime next year, probably. While each of the lines focus on different parts of the Star Wars setting they are being designed with compatibility in mind.
On the miniatures side of things, the tactical dog-fighting X-Wing Miniatures has been out for... a year and a half or so now? It's relatively cheap compared to most tabletop miniature games, although it'll still add up if you become addicted. It's really fun, so addiction is likely.
There's also a Living Card Game for Star Wars but I haven't played that.
Do you wish to know more about any of these things?
it's good! They're finally realizing that they're fucking bioware so they should be releasing story-heavy patches with cool instances for people that have finished the PVE stuff

Concealment is the stabby/shotgun to the base of the skull spec.
Just started an Operative during the last double XP weekend. I'm going to have so much fun when I finally get around to leveling him properly, unlocking all the stabby-shoot-giggle abilities. I'm already having plenty of fun as an unlicensed medical consultant Scoundrel.
There really needs to be more focus on that sort of stuff in the new movies and whatever EU spins out of it.
plo koon, the guy who is literally prescient and the 3rd best pilot in the galaxy and can survive in space
was killed by his own clones
by being shot down
Arrogant Jedi, helpless as the dark side clouds their vision
Yeah I hate to defend the movies but palpantines ability to cloud the Jedi's futuresight and the decay of the Jedi's ability was kind of a huge plot point.
If the eu gave them powers they wernt supposed to have that's on them.

I know I sound like a broken record damaged holocron, but Revenge of the Sith novelization. Seriously. It's covered.

I still need to read that fucking novelization
If only to see for myself how someone could salvage that wreck of a film

I can't get up the gumption to play it.
I logged in and tried to play for like 10 minutes yesterday and just

I kept waiting for the Launch problems to get fixed and it just sort of got worse the longer it was up.
