I have patched back to 1.5.1 until they sort out the new version of the game so it's actually playable
Somone made a fair point on the SA thread for the game that the patch-design of the game seems to be all about forcing people to play the way that the designers want the game to be played, aka world conquest should be next to impossible. Which is dumb, since until CK2, there really isn't much to the game aside from slow expansion and other warfare.
They should make an expansion that deals with internal politik, really, in a way that actually makes the game dynamic (like in CK2) as opposed to what they're doing now, which is just "boost rebels, make expansion really slow and hard"

PDS keeps making the EU series less fun. EU2 best EU.
its weird tho because the way they are making it less fun is two fold - removing scripted alternate history event chains in favor of extremely shallow decisions/missions to make the game less rigid, while simultaneously changing the systems to punish you for doing ahistorical (i.e: expansionist) stuff.
Shameful pursuits and utterly stupid opinions

Which is actually really important because we currently live with them and will likely be doing so for somewhere between six months to a year or so until we get our finances sorted out and shit after moving across the country.
the current humble weekly sale is RPG Maker and a bunch of DLC and stuff for it
so I'm thinking YES that is a ton of generic sprites and assets I could use in my own projects. Because lack of art assets is the doom of every indie game dev working alone.
but even RPG maker is cursed by the copyright gods. The content included in these packs has several different kinds of licenses and a fair bit of it cannot be used outside of RPG maker itself. And some of the other stuff requires you to cough up extra cash to be able to.
