    I just wish it was later in the season so I'd feel like I had a better sense of the Spartans. As a perpetual underdog it feels like we can win, but between Oregon's glossy veneer and only playing a cupcake I'm just not certain.

    Thank God for Rutgers. Our second tier teams look really, really bad and our crap teams are getting destroyed by the MAC.

    Oregon State lost to Eastern Washington last year while ranked 25th. I can't remember if Kansas State was ranked last year when they lost to the great NDSU.

    I'm glad K-State pulled it out in the end, but they've still got a lot of work to do. The two drives at the end of each half were good signs and Waters has nicely stepped up his running game and is his throwing is good but behind where it was at the end of last season. Way too many penalties and too many sacks and 3-and-outs. Snyder has plenty of things to work on in the next two weeks when Auburn comes to town.
